It’s with a sense of Déjà vu that I’m happy to announce that the studio is open again for business and is ready to receive clients. The studio is now open for business again after a little 1 month “break”. It’s time to get back to creating beautiful portraits for you.
The health and safety measures have been reinforced and conform with those recommended by the FFPMI (Fédération Française de Photographie et des Métiers de l'Image), the French professional photographers federation of which I am a member.
Access to the studio is still by appointment only. Please contact me via the contact me page or on 06 67 71 54 28 to make an appointment.
Pre-shoot consultations will be held virtually. I have held my planning appointments virtually using Zoom or Skype since the end of the first lockdown and it’s working really well for everyone so we’ll continue with this – no need to come to the studio to discuss what you’re looking for from your portrait session and go over style, shoot location and other options. If you do not have access to Skype or Zoom (which are free applications), your planning appointment can be done over the phone.
If you or a member of your family are identified as a close contact to a Covid case or experience Covid-19 symptoms (cough, fever, respiratory difficulties, fatigue, sore throat etc) in the 7 days leading up to your portrait session, please contact me to reschedule your portrait session free of charge.
Only people participating in the portrait session will be allowed into the studio.
The studio will be aired out and disinfected after each client and the time between studio appointments will be increased to permit the ventilation of the studio.
Please come to the studio wearing a mask. Children under 6 years are not required to wear a mask. You will, of course, remove your mask while you are being photographed and you will be asked to put the mask back on when you are not being photographed. The mask remains mandatory when attending the photo viewing session (where you discover the photos from your portrait session) or for any other visit to the studio.
I will be wearing a mask for all studio appointments and will be regularly be disinfecting my hands with hand sanitiser. While the welcome may feel a little less friendly than usual, with me wearing a mask, you can be sure that I’ll be smiling even if you can’t see it.
Social distancing of 2m will be adopted wherever possible for all appointments at the studio. If the portrait session involves people from different family / living groups, social distancing of at least 1m (2m preferably) will be mandatory.
Please sanitise your hands with hydroalcoholic gel upon arrival at the studio. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the session and it is recommended that you sanitise your hands again as you leave.
Studio gowns and accessories, used during maternity, newborn and glamour portrait sessions, will be disinfected after each client (as per usual).
The backgrounds used during the session will be quarantined (for paper backgrounds) or disinfected (for vinyl backgrounds) (as has been the practice since the end of the first lockdown).
Studio samples will continue to be available to clients. Some will be able to be handled while others will be not able to be touched. Any samples that have been handled by clients will be quarantined.
In the event that these health and safety procedures are not respected or if you (or other members of your entourage at the studio) display Covid-19 symptoms during your shoot, your portrait session may be cancelled without reimbursement of the session fee.
Thank you for your understanding and for respecting these health and safety measures which are in place to protect everyone.
As usual, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding these measures.
